Abizole 5 mg is indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia, as well as for the management of manic episodes in bipolar disorders.
Each tablet contains 5 mg of aripiprazole as the active ingredient, 78.59 mg of mannitol as an excipient, and FD&C Blue No. 2 (Indigocarmine dye) (E132) as a coloring agent.
Abizoli is prescribed for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults and adolescents aged 15 years and older.
It is also used for the treatment of moderate to severe manic episodes in adults with Bipolar Disorder Type I, and for the prevention of new manic episodes in patients who have responded to aripiprazole treatment (see section “Pharmacodynamic properties”).
Abizoli is indicated for a 12-week treatment course of moderate to severe manic episodes in adolescents aged 13 years and older with Bipolar Disorder Type I (see section “Pharmacodynamic properties”).

The recommended starting dose of Abizoli is 10-15 mg per day. The maintenance dose is 15 mg once daily, which can be taken with or without food. The efficacy of Abizoli has been demonstrated in doses of 10-30 mg per day. Increasing the dose above 15 mg daily generally does not increase effectiveness, although in some cases higher doses may be effective. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 30 mg.
