Abizole 15 mg is indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia, as well as for the management of manic episodes in bipolar disorders.
Each tablet contains 15 mg of the active ingredient aripiprazole.
Excipients include: 110.55 mg of mannitol and iron oxide yellow (E172) as coloring agent.
Abizole is indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults and adolescents aged 15 years and older.
It is also used in the treatment of moderate to severe manic episodes in type I bipolar disorder and for the prevention of new manic episodes in adults who have previously responded to treatment with aripiprazole.
In adolescents aged 13 years and older, Abizole is indicated for a 12-week course of treatment for moderate to severe manic episodes in type I bipolar disorder.

The recommended initial dose of Abizole is 10–15 mg per day. The maintenance dose is 15 mg once daily, taken with or without food.
Efficacy has been demonstrated within a dosage range of 10–30 mg per day. Increasing the dose above 15 mg/day has not been shown to increase efficacy, although in individual cases, higher doses may be beneficial.
The maximum daily dose should not exceed 30 mg.
